Online reviews do matter

TripAdvisor sent a us “badge” earlier this week that honored us for having received 49 reviews rating us “excellent” on their website.   This award got us thinking about online reviews and how important they are to companies, especially in the hospitality/restaurant industry.

If we’re going to try out a new restaurant, we often look at the various sites to read about others’ experiences.  But we rarely go back and provide a review.  We think we’re going to change that habit.

Studies indicate that user reviews are considered highly believable when people are researching online.  So we’d like to thank all those who have taken the time to rate Domaine Hudson– whether on TripAdvisor, Open Table, Yelp, or any of the other review sites. And for those whose experience was “excellent,” we’re very pleased to hear that.

While we’re always happy to receive an outstanding restaurant review in the media, it’s your opinion that matters most to us.  So, next time you stop in, we’d love it if you’d take a minute to let others know about your dining experience. And we’ll be looking for your feedback, too.
