When I visited the Piedmont region of Italy with its vistas, hills, endless rows of grapevines, one of the wineries stood out and stole my heart. The Elio Grasso Estate produces some of the best Barolo, Barbera, Nebbiolo and Dolcetto in the area. The cellar uses only estate-grown grapes to make wines lauded by many wine critics over the years.
On Sunday, June 14, Gianluca Grasso is coming to visit us and enthrall us with his stories of life as a “grape farmer,” as he likes to call himself.
I’d like to invite you to attend this very special Meet the Winemaker Dinner. We’ll serve 5 courses expertly paired with 6 beautiful wines. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and is $125 per person.
